Tourism Guides Students from Nevsehir Haci Bektas Veli University on a Training Trip

Nevsehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University (NEVU) Faculty of Tourism, Department of Guidance organized a trip to Kayaşehir, Virgin Mary Church, Nevşehir Castle and VR Digital Experience Center for 4th year students.

NEVU Faculty of Tourism, Department of Tourism Guidance Lecturer. Assist. Hülya Ceylan, lecturers and future tourism guides students participated in the trip. The students, who visited Kayaşehir, Nevşehir Castle, Vr Digital Experience Center and the Church of Virgin Mary, were informed about the historical and cultural features and architectural structures of the region. In addition, the officials of Nevşehir Municipality Urban Transformation Directorate informed the students about the works carried out in the region so far, the history of the region and the projects planned to be carried out in the future.

Lecturer Hülya Ceylan said that with the organized trip, the students, who are the tourism guides of the future, had an important experience in getting to know the natural, cultural heritage and tourism potential of the region more closely and providing more conscious and detailed information to the visitors they will guide in the future Ceylan added that thanks to this educational trip, students also had the opportunity to transform their theoretical knowledge into practice by conducting field studies.
