NEVU Faculty of Tourism Conference on ‘Understanding Cappadocia’
Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University (NEVU) Faculty of Tourism, Department of Tourism Guidance organised a conference on ‘Understanding Cappadocia’.
Professional Tourist Guide and Art Historian Mustafa Uysun participated as a guest speaker in the conference held by NEVU Faculty of Tourism, Department of Tourism Guidance within the scope of ‘21 February World Guides Day’ at the Faculty of Tourism Conference Hall.
In the conference where academic and administrative staff and students of the faculty were present, Tourist Guide and Art Historian Mustafa Uysun, who shared the subtleties of the guidance profession and the historical and cultural richness of the Cappadocia region with the participants, said that professional guidance is not only a profession, but also a culture transmitter. Uysun also gave detailed information about the unique nature and historical heritage of Cappadocia and drew attention to the tourism potential of the region.
Mustafa Uysun surprised the students and presented his book ‘Cappadocia Diaries’ to five students at the end of his speech and the conference ended with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation.
